Superstar is an outstanding bull that has proven himself as a sire of thick, fast-growing calves for profitable beef producers. Superstar is a genetic curve-bender.  He is one of the few growth rate trait leaders with figures in the top 1% of the Hereford breed with a  well-below breeed average birth weight EBV of 3.5 and a moderate mature cow size.  This means his calves hit the ground, grow quickly and then mature to a practical commercial cow size.  Selection indexes are in the top 1% of the breed.

Superstar's dam Belle 123 is a Gold Benchmark Dam (8 progeny) and his sire's dam Belle 104 is a Silver Benchmark Dam (11 progeny).

Superstar has generated world-wide interest and semen sales. Export qualified semen is available in Australia and Canada. A limited amount of NZ domestic semen is still available. Superstar is deceased. Pictured at 3.5 years 

Yardstick is out of a 13 year old 4K Survivor cow by Mohican Roughout.  He is a long bodied, thick-topped bull that is cosmetically very good.

Volume is a RU 20X Boulder 57G son out of Walpole Phillis. Boulder is sired by Keynote, one of the most influential sires of the breed world-wide. Volume is a growth rate trait leader with selection indexes in the top 5% of the breed.  He sires fast growing bulls with a huge carcase and feminine females.  His first daughters at Te Taumata will calve in 2012.  Pictured at 21 months of age.
